Agris Galvanovskis to coach MBC Mykolaiv

Agris_GalvanovskisPRIME Athlete Management coach Agris Galvanovskis has signed agreement with Ukraine Superleague club MBC Mykolaiv becoming team’s head coach.

Last two seasons Agris Galvanovskis spent in Liepāja, coaching local „Lauvas” team and winning two bronze medals in Latvian Basketball League. Agris started his coaching career in 1998 and besides Liepāja he has coached BC „ASK Buki” (three bronze medals) and BC „Ventspils” (two gold medals, as well as one silver medal and bronze medal). Additionally Latvian coach was chosen to lead Latvian U-20 National team (2008, 2011) and National Men’s team as assistant coach (2010, 2011). He is the third Latvian coach in Ukraine Superleague after Igors Miglinieks and Ainārs Bagatskis.

Last season Ukraine Superleague club MBC Mykolaiv won 11 out of 39 games and finished twelfth in the league, and in 2010/2011 the club finished fifth in the league.
